Background Info
Project MKUltra was an experiment conducted by the CIA from 1953-1973. The project's main goal was to successfully and effectively control the human mind. What makes this project so taboo and questionable is that the experiments conducted brought harm to the subject, involved verbal, physical and sexual abuse. These experiments were torture, and the goal was to formulate the best possible form of torture in order to access the unwilling human mind. Because of the nature of the experiments all the subjects were UNWILLING, UNSUSPECTING, and ABDUCTED by the CIA in order to conduct the experiments. Obviously because of the blatantly illegal activity, the project was labeled "Top Secret" until the freedom of information act in 1977 brought the project into the public spotlight.
